About PlaySim
PlaySim is a small OpenSimulator grid by and for the child avatar community. It exists because that community usually has to fit itself around grids built for something else, and it is nicer to have somewhere shaped for it from the start.
Who is here
Adults, all of us. A child avatar is a choice about how you appear in world — for family roleplay, for the company, or because it is simply the shape that suits you. The people behind the avatars are grown-ups, and accounts are approved by hand before they are created.
What it runs on
OpenSimulator 0.9.3.0 with hypergrid enabled. Content you create is yours; you can take it with you to any other grid over hypergrid.
What it is not
It is not Second Life and it is not trying to be. It is also not a children’s site: PlaySim is for adults who use child avatars, and accounts are held by adults.
Money
There is an in-world currency, C$, used for the ordinary business of a grid — land, goods people make, the occasional prize. It is play money and cannot be bought with real money.
Getting started
Create an avatar, then follow the connection guide to connect a viewer.
